The Chatham Berry Farm is a pesticide-free farm. We are not certified organic, however our practices tend to be organic in nature. We believe that a balance between cultivation & nature is essential. In order to ensure the productivity and future of the farm, we must prioritize the safe & responsible stewardship of this land. The health of our staff, customers & community is important to us. That's why we strive to not use synthetic pesticides on our crops.
Fresh cut, pesticide-free flowers are available seasonally in our farm store. You can find these beautiful, ecologically grown flower bouquets May-September at the farm.
We would love to share our farm with you. Our farm store and garden center are open to the public. We're working on tending our land and providing spaces for the public to safely enjoy nature.
The space between the Kline Kill Creek and our perimeter deer fence is being mowed to allow for walking paths that can be enjoyed seasonally. Responsible pet owners may safely walk their leashed dogs here. Please be advised that 6' of physical distancing is in effect for your safety. Enjoy our space, but please respect the land. Do not disturb any plant or animal life. Photos are fine & encouraged! No plant collecting or plant poaching please. Use common sense around the creek. Dogs must be leashed at all times & dogs must be picked up after. The area does not have trash receptacles, so a carry-in & carry-out policy should be observed. Please feel free to enjoy this space from dawn to dusk.
